Fennel
Fennel has been used in traditional medicine to improve digestion by reducing bloating, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence and curbing appetite. It is an excellent source of vitamin B and C, dietary fiber, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Manganese, found in both the bulb and seeds helps with regulating metabolism and blood sugar. Fennel is high in antioxidants and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, all which help to boost the immune system and protect against chronic diseases.
